Whether as a trader/broker for firms like Merrill Lynch, Dean Witter, or Prudential Bache, or as a personal trading consultant to private individuals, my focus is generating measurable results through data.
During my formative years, I witnessed firsthand the advantages of technical trading, and became an instant convert. I believed the best way for accounts to trade the market successfully was through analyzing charts of past market activity and monitoring technical indicators. The insights gained through charting allowed traders like me to forecast optimal entry points, calculate and manage risk, and plan short-term objectives (when to get out). It isn’t voodoo, luck, or fortune-telling – it’s a combination of science and art, and it works.
